Historic Firehouse with beautiful year round mountain and water views. This unique building has been converted to a 2 bedroom 1 bath space with large living room/dining room area and updated kitchen and bath. Located across the road from the Esopus Creek which also happens to be the Saugerties Beach. Its just outside the Village of Saugerties with its great restaurants, art galleries, antique shops and movie theatre. The Hudson River marina is walking distance and there are slips available to keep a boat. Also walking distance to Diamond Mills Hotel and restaurant, Main and Partition Streets where all shops and restaurants are located. There are some new and vibrant businesses, while retaining some well established shops and eateries. There are old pubs and new outdoor restaurants and bars that open in the spring. In May, H.I.T.S. (Horses in the Sun), a premier equestrian venue, opens for the season. It brings thousands of visitors to the Village and it becomes virtually impossible to rent a room, apartment or house on short notice right through New Years Eve. You can also have a B&B when not in use. Last summer we broke all previous attendance records for the July 4th Car Show and the Garlic Festival in the fall.
